Nutrimix Plus

Good product. I mix it in as a top-dress to soaked alfalfa, and even the picky eaters eat it just fine. I especially like that this is a complete supplement for basically a grass/hay diet and that it does not contain any flax, soy, or other allergens that my sensitive horse needs to avoid.

My horse left more of the white powdery stuff in her feeder than she ate.

My horse had issues with feet, soft soles and thin hoof walls. Ben, a Bluebonnet representative, suggested using Nutrimix plus and after a couple months, my horse and I are back on the trail!

I was very concerned about palatibility, as I have had issues in the past with other products and had seen some reviews that were daunting. However, none of my four horses thought twice about eating their meal (soaked alfalfa pellets) with the Nutrimix Plus added as a top-dress and mixed in. This is a great relief, since one of mine is allergic to oats and soy, which most balancers have. The 100 mg biotin gives me confidence in having hoof integrity at the end of a hot and humid summer on sand (Aiken, SC).

I’m really impressed with each of the balancers, to be honest. They fill different needs, as you know, however they are palatable and easy to feed. I was surprised at how even my most “suspicious” horses took to the nutrimix powder mixed in some grass pellets and adding a little binder. Even dry, they like the taste. The nutrimix formulates the best for my performance horses. I like the adaptability of each of the stride balancers though when adapting them to various hay tests analyses.

I used NutriMix plus to help grow out a few nasty cracks on my white hoofed gelding and within about 4 months my farrier had been able to remove them completely. Without telling him I added a new supplement, he knew within 60 days that something was different in his diet and was very impressed by the label. Excellent stuff!!

I’ve been using this product for my 2 horses for the last few months and I’ve noticed huge improvements with my horses hooves.

Our local Bluebonnet rep gave me a small bucket of this to try. I put two of my lesson horses with hoof issues on it. Within 30 days my farrier made a point to comment on the change in their hoof quality. I hadn’t told him we had put them on anything. Between this, the change in general condition and the X-ray proof I have of increased sole depth I can say that this product is fantastic. I now buy it in 50# tubs for my lesson string as well as personal performance horses.

The nutrimix plus seems to be working on my Appaloosa mare’s hooves. We have noticed that the cracks have grown out more on her hooves and that her hooves are actually growing! Before using Nutrimix Plus we would not have much growth at all. Thanks for a great product!
