Reining

Weatherford, TX

“Stride Rewind, both the pellet and liniment forms, are a staple in my barn. I have tried various joint supplements in the past, but with Stride Rewind pellets there is actually noticeable difference in the way my horses feel and perform. We keep the Rewind liniment on hand to use after strenuous workouts and during long horse shows. Both, products keep my horses feeling good so they can perform at the best of their ability in and out of the show pen.”

Tell grew up in the Texas Panhandle riding primarily ranch and cutting horses. While attending OSU, Jack Kyle introduced him to the sport of reining and he has been training reiners ever since. Upon graduation, Tell decided to pursue a career in the horse industry and worked for notable trainers such as Dell Hendricks and Casey Deary. He also spent a few years training in Denmark and Italy.

In December of 2015, he started Tell Edgmon Performance Horses and over the past 2 1/2 years his business has grown to have a large non-pro base. This year alone, Tell has had 15 non-pros qualify for the South Central Affiliate Regional Finals. He is looking forward to seeing what the future holds with his training business, non-pros and the horses in the program.
